Honestly, I wasn't planning to see this movie. Why would I sit through more than two hours for a movie that is expectedly all about mayhem and explosions? But I still went...I felt I needed to relax and a see a movie that's not too demanding on my brain. So there it is...I got what I paid for. Movies now are, more than ever, all about taking you into another world...and Transformers does that: you're in a world where cars or any other electronic appliance can turn into powerful, giant robots. Humans are relegated as spectators. And we can't help it but just watch, and see if these highly advanced robots will settle their own issues among themselves and leave us alone with our favorite gadgets.
Transformers isn't going to be the best film of the year, but it is entertaining enough for us to see the magic that is computer animation. The live actors are not useless. They provide comic relief between these spectacular sequences. Yet with the exception of newcomer Shia Labeouf, the robots are the stars of the show.

Since childhood, I've been one of the biggest fans of the Transformers. I never missed an episode! So when I heard the news that it will be shown as a movie (real people with CGI), I was so excited! When I first saw the trailer, the special effects are undeniable incredible. But the question is, will there be more than meets the eye?
After seeing the movie at ATC, I can say that I'm far from disappointed. What I like about the movie is the flow of the story is very engaging, plus the mind blowing special effects which caught my attention from start to finish. What I also liked is it was able to effectively narrate the whole picture (from where they came from up to the final battle) which eliminates the feeling of "bitin". This movie may have some flaws, but for me it still exceeded my expectations.
